    1.7TD Clutch

    Hey again,

    more F*****g problems,

This morning my clutch went totally flat, no responce at all. The AA come to tow me and i ask the guy off hand what he recommends, looks under the car and says the Clutch Slave Cylinder has gone. Gearbox out job, not cheap.

Phone my mechanic and he recommends replacing the clutch aswell since Ive no idea when it was done.

Any idea of price on parts? and how much for job overall. My mechanic hasn't given me a price yet, anyone on here got an idea??

    Cheers,
    Rob.L

Slave cylinder is pretty cheap, and it's worth doing the clutch while the 'box is off, along with replacing the gearbox fluid.

Parts are cheap, it's usually the labour that costs...
