    headlight levels

    my MOT is booked in on thursday and i know that my headlights are out of level and i know how to level them i just dont know how much or what height they should be so any help would be good. thanks

    have you not got another car you can make a mark on a wall with to compair? failing that its pay someone to do it, local garage with the right machine can do it or a quickfit?

    The garage doing MOT should do it before they test it if you ask em to.

    Some may charge a few quid, most will do it for free!
    0-60 in 6.5 secs and 48mpg- winner!

    Most MOT'ers will do it for you when (if) it fails on it and not charge you. Failing that just ask um to sort it before the test

    Had my car MOT'ed the other day and it failed as one was too high and the other was too low. They charged me £7.50 per light to adjust which seemed expensive.

    When i had my Corsa (with quad Morette head lights), took it for a MOT in a Vauxhall dealer, i knew they were out because i fitted em and didnt have info of how to align properly, they sorted it free of charge.
