    vectra c pipe

    hi fitting my vectra c pipe and de-restricting the air box today on my 1.6 and would justy like to know
    1. how much space do you have between the rad and the vec pipe
    2. did no notice a difference in noise and
    3. what does your temp gauge sit at

    1. doesnt really mater how much space there is. if you original pipe fits in there, then the veccy c one should fit there too.

    2. when you derestrict your airbox, if you do not cover the holes that appear when to take out the internal pipes then you will get quite a nice induction sound. even if you cover then there is a slight increase in noise.

    3. there shouldnt be any change

    the gap for the pipe to go in for me leaves no clearance at all, i have to take bits off and make sure the radiator can move a bit to get the old pipe put and the new pipe in, and my temp sits at around 84, but i have also got the bonnet cover from a diesel to cut down on noise
