    power outputs

    ive tried the search and no even more confused

    i have a 2.0ltr SRI (1999) x20evx engine

    What does this car stand at standard in both BHP and 0-60?

    I have now added a vectra C intake pipe and a derestricted air box with a k and n panel filter, what gains conservatively do you think i hav achieved from these additions? Again in both BHP and 0-60

    Any difference or none at all, as it doesnt seem any quicker to me

    So not a waste of £60 odd then LOL and everyone seems ot swear by doing these mods, clearly no point at all

    planning a remap, but i want more torque low range to mid range rather than top end of the revs power

    It helps breathing and throttle responce for when u do other mods, on their own though, their quite pointless imo.

    i'd like to know too...

    sorry to thread hi-jack, but i got 2.0ltr sri too.

    same as you airboxwise and cat back stainless, i saving for remap too and after same gains, more torque and lower end power, rarley go over 60mph and would love it to pull like a train.....

    u have a cat-back so u can add maybe 3-4bhp realistically with the airbox mods.

    U'd get more if it was a full system including a sports cat etc.

    A remap will see u gain another 5-10bhp.

    same with me Lee, i dont tend to speed as such but i want it to pull rather than lagg and get quicker higher through the rev range

    Might get an RR done see whats what

    could get local garage to make straight through pipe and keep cat for next year? how much would sport cat be, and what diff would it make...

    mates got the 2.2 sri, know its never gonna get big bhp but just want get more than him...

    just forked out £900 for insurance and have a £180 manifold bill too in next week or so

    6 months easily before i have a rempa, however i think i could do a RR just depends how much they cost

    I'm not sure how much different the 2.0 N/A exhaust is over the 2.0T ... so best to speak to someone with more knowledge, I'm sure someone will see this topic.

    A Sports Cat however is around £400. A Decat pipe will put ur engine emissions light on and make your car go into limp home mode (If its the same as the 2.0T exhaust anyways).

    Also, if your stopped at the roadside for an emissions check, which are becoming more popular these days with police forces, then you'll fail and I think your car can be crushed due to being illegal on the road.
