    HELP :( Headlight switch connections

Right, today I decided to take apart the headlight switch to fit LED's...

which pins do I need to connect to +ve and -ve to test it before putting back in car??

I can get the LED's to light from several of the terminals, but want t make sure I have them the right way round!!!

    Haynes is useless - in the electrical diagram the pins are numbered 1-13. On the back of the switch they're numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 15, 30, 31, 31a, 56, 58R, 58K.

30 is always permanent live in numbers, 31 is earth. I would have thought that is enough so you can then turn the switch and have different parts of it illuminate

For your information 15 is ignition live but I have no idea on the others
