My friends Mk4 GSI started running really ruff and kept stalling etc etc.
He took it Vauxhall for a tech 2 and check over and to see if he could claim on his AA warrenty.
Vauxhall had it all day 8 - 5.30 and all they could say is that it was over fuelling and then running really lean. They blamed the dump valve or boost gauge LOL.
He bought it round to me as some know I have broke many turbo'd cars and wee took of the baileys off thinking it might be sticking open.
Went to go for a test run and as soon as he went to pull off, big boost leak and car nearly stalls. get him to try once more and stright away I say that is your bottom turbo hose.
We jack it up to get are heads under there and in plain view there is a 2" split in the hose, sticks out a mile.
He is going to Vauxhall today to ask for his money back because they had all day and didnt even check the car over and someone like me finds it stright away with no Vauxhall training AO
