    Tech2 and OBD2 cable compatibility?

    Hi

Can anyone please tell me, if a cable works for OBD2, does that mean it'll work with the Tech2 software? How about vice versa?

    Thanks.

As long as the the OBD cable does not have a control box to which the OBD software is required the yes it should work no problems at all. This should also work in reverse.

Just make sure that the Tech2 and OBD software can access the port that the cable is on.
