    OIL PRESS questions

i know this will sound dumb but would an oil change help reduce the oil pree in the coupe?

reson i ask is in the last week the press has jumped from 80 PSi to 100PSi while normal driving.. still on idle sitas at 60 PSi tho..

i did notice when doing the sandwich plate a few weeks ago that the oil was getting a bit shity looking and just wunderd if doing an oil change might help?

if you can would you post what your readings are too please.. just trying to get an understanding for what the car readings should be so if anything do go wrong i will know about it.

    cheers pepole.

Cold idle I get 5 bar (about 80 psi), warm idle I get about 2.5-3 bar (36-43.5 psi) and cold driving it can go up to about 6 bar (87 psi) and warm driving normally see's 4.5 bar (65 psi)

I would maybe change the oil if you are unsure if its still good. What oil are you using? Have you got an oil temp sensor on there too?

Strange. Mine don't meet. I must get my wheel off and do a mini how2 for that. Sunday would be a good dy, so long as the weather is ok (dry!!)

Going to go see if I can get some more 5w30 FS from vxl too. And a new filter.
