    215 on 8" alloy?

    hey, i currently have 18x7.5j alloys fitted with 215 width tyres.

    my new wheels are 8" wide, are the 215's ok to fit to these?

    what's the rest of the tyre size?? 215/35R18 ??

    then you can fit that tyre size to wheels from 18x7j to 18x8.5j

    course the wider you go with the rim, the more stretched they will look (and the more vulnerable your rims will be to kerbs and pot-holes)

    cheers, yeah ive damaged 2 of my 7.5's on potholes and the ride is a bit harsher with the 35's but i wasnt wanting to have to buy new tyres as these are near new.

    up to you obviously, but how much would a new set of rims be if you hit a pot-hole on the nice smooth roads where you live??

    probably wouldnt find another set tbh.

    surely there wouldnt be much difference between 215 and say 225, if you hit a pothole you're screwed either way.
