standard tinted or shark eye tinted lamps

looks like im soon going to be reverting back to standard lamps - keeping the hids on the car but cant decide on shark eyes or the standard tinted ones - whats the general thought peeps

(dumping the angel eyes as im sick of the constant led blowing in the side lights, really cant be bothered to keep removing the bumper everytime due to crap quality leds and for some reason im now prefering the standard lights again)

ps - if anyone has any head on pics of the 2 diff lamps fitted feel free to post them up

pps - also seeking tinted lamps too when i have made my mind up

ppps - may be willing to swap a set of leh injectors and rail if anyone has lamps - again when i have judged from some images to make my mind up

I'd go for shark eyes but here is picture front on of my coupe turbo with the standard tinted headlights and one HID fitted to show the difference.

From another angle (photoslag time )

Edit: Darrensxi sharkeye headlights, sorry not straight on though.

its the slight uncontrollable glare from the standard lamp that concerns me - i presume there are no problems with driving, mot, police - they look like the light just explodes yet the shark eyes have a round section to control it more

My car was only MOT'd a couple of weeks back and passed no problem, didn't even mention the headlights, also never been stopped by the coppers, I think I prefer the sharkeyes though, look more OE especially with the Xenons.

my maine reason for thinking about them is exactly what you have said - the angel eyes control the hid output nicely compared to standard lamps - but after 12 months i want those leds out the window - cost to much to replace them when they go every month and im really in a cant be bothered to take the lamps out every time
