    My new company car...

Most members will now that I sold my GSI three weeks ago to Geordie Chris on here Looks like it is in good hands

A last picture I have of it - and funnily enough I dont miss it

So in one fell swoop, I no longer owned a private car and with the added costs of running one

So that was collected on the Tuesday morning, and I tied the delivery of my new car in for the afternoon. My employers have struck a deal with this particular dealer group for supply so I was steered into it
Please note, its not my first, second, third, fourth, fifth or even sixth choice -but its surprisingly good in every aspect

    Spec is:
    BMW 118d SE (2.0 engine)
    Quartz Blue Metallic
    17" Alloys
Comfort pack ( includes front centre armrest, auto lights, wipers etc)
    Body coloured Exterior trim
    exterior mirror pack
    Anthracite network cloth interior

Anyway cleaned it yesterday and took some pictures...already ordered my next one for delivery in January. Same car and spec, only with a paint change (sydney blue) and the addition of Bluetooth prep.

Apologies if the pictures are hooooge

Sorry mate, build quality aside, that's one awful looking car.

Also, why did BMW call it a 118 when it has a 2.0? Surely logic would dictate that '120' would be a more apt name/number for the model?!?!

maybe better quality, but lets be honest vxl badge or no vxl badge, its not really as special as a gsi is it

must admit, im not a fan of the looks. but maybe it grows on you?

How have you found it to drive? Nice? How is that diesel engine?

I notice its badged as a 118d but you said its 2 litre, is it the same lump as the 320d by any chance? or do BM do two different maps for 2.0 blocks?

    just wondered...

    Enough doors for the kids!!
The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
