Plenty of people run induction kits without any adjustments needed.
As long as you follow the filter maintenance procedure, ie clean it as instructed and reoil as necessary (but never over-oil it)...
you should be fine
I asked in another thread but didnt get an answer
What I asked was:
When I fitted my Jetex Airforce induction kit, Someone said to my I will have lost power?? Is this a load of arse too?
As the Air Force is an enclosed kit, and works the same was as a Viper or BMC, then I doubt you'd suffer any powerloss caused by heat soak that would affect open cones.
So yep, you were told arse
Cheers mate, But no power gain either I take it?
Wrong again! You should experience a little hike in power - nothing to shout about but a gain is a gain at the end of the day! An enclosed kit should give a little increase in performance, power and more importantly allow the engine to breathe more freely.Originally Posted by Goldeneye
