    Unhappy Rolling road results 170bhp :( !!!!!

just had my car rolling roaded and it only made 172.7 bhp!!! he ran it again and made 172.5 bhp. My car made 205bhp as standard.

mods i have done to my car are miltek cat-back pre cat decat pipe. k&n air filter derestricted airbox with dbylis large air intake and NGK iridium spark plugs BKR6EIX-11.

It seams a bit strange that my car is about 40 odd bhp down. the car feels faster than it was standard so i'm hoping its just the rolling road is wrong. the graph looks ok the same as standard just less bhp.

    standard car 205 bhp

Could it be that the recent rolling road you have had done they didn't caculate it at the flywheel so the figure you see is at the wheels?

Thats what i thought i will have to phone up and check.
if it is at the wheels that would make mine about 206 bhp at the fly wheel. i'll have to try it on regals dyno again

you think yours was weird, mine only showed 145hp at the wheels with a custom front mount intercooler with 2" piping, 3" turboback exhaust, haltech interceptor ecu and a k&n pod filter :P

    stupid dyno.

i've just booked mine in for another run on a dyno that has been proved to be acurate so hopfully i will get a more accurate reading. but its further to travel now.
they knew what they were doing as they have the fastest EVO in Ireland and a 700bhp race scubby

Just had my car on another rolling road and it made 189.5 bhp at the flywheel.
I don't understand why its so down on what standard was.
The rolling road operator said that it could be down to the miltek exhaust and pre cat replacement pipe. and a remap would cue it.

The car feels fine driving. its just down on power.
    Anyone have any ideas?
Could it be the boost solenoid??

Tis strange that you are down on power.
The mods you have done sound pretty similar to what I have done on my zaf Gsi, which I believe is 190bhp standard, I'm having my car dyno'd on Satarday at the Air Ambulance charity bash and am interested to see what power I end up with, although as you say, my car feels much stronger after the mods!

dazerc, ECC's road seems pretty accurate, so I suspect something is wrong. Did they pull the TC fuse?

Here's my graph from ECC, which I think is pretty spot on:

I'd still like to run it on Davy's rollers, or maybe Stephen Gault's ones, as they're both known accurate. But, I'm confident ECC's ones are pretty close.
