    just back from regals

for vxr injector and remap for them, also had the vxr amm

courtenay cs2 map was 265/270 - actually was 250/250 when rr at regal due to the courtenay actuator vibrating due to a thin mounting bracket causing boost drops.

injectors in, remap on, new actuator (vxr item) and afm - a few road tests and rolling roads after to sort the niggles

    the outcome: near enough 280/320

i also had the switchable boost button so i can limp around on 210bhp for economy or flick it to the whole 280

i will have to say despite not being impressed with regal in the past they exceeded anything i could have asked for - my wish was there command - so hats off to them

impressive mate. how much is that vxr amm, and does it make much difference over the z20let one?

interested about that switchable boost, is it a case of instance change in power, ie lower power, then press a switch and it goes back up to top performance?

Where do they locate the switch?

280/320 is a good power increase ... do u need an uprated clutch to cope with that torque?

Can i just say when speaking on the phone to courtneys the other day they do a high torque map which runs 280/320 ish,but was informed they will only install that on the agreement that the customer no's that they need to look after the car ie warm up warm down ect as they find running this kind of power puts the standard zlet pistons on there limit. Do regals have any reservations with there maps? Noticed some zlets from regals are running silly torque figures

he didnt hear a thing - he said the car seemed sound

regal seem to map the car to its best it can take - you get a bit of paper at the end stating do's and donts
