    Chat site got me fired

    Quick warning folks.
I've been running the sales for a fruit and veg company for 10 months.
All went very well and brought in a hell of a lot of business.
Started to get unhappy though as the demands never ended despite my major success.
Anyway, I vented my frustrations on a surf website (closed one) and some little fecker had been monitoring the PC.

Anyway, I now have no job (will soon sort something out though!) and am pretty sure there was some ulterior motive.
Hardly sensible to sack a top sales guy for being nasty about the boss on one single occasion.
There was NOTHING dodgy, no looking at porn or anything, just two entries on a website that's used by very few people.

    Anyway, be warned.

Yeah, I know for a fact that modern PC monitoring software is VERY sneaky and almost impossible to detect.

Sorry to hear you got scooped.

Sorry to hear that mate - but you do have to be careful... you should have done it from home at least!!

I work in IT for my company, and we can see what anybody is looking at at any given time. We can see what they type, what they say through Instant Messenger etc... and we are quite a relaxed company!!

Just be warned all of you, big brother IS watching

Agreed, I'd get shot of em quick quick, no matter how "valuable" they were and regardless of how many people use the site, it's principle of it, not to mention the fact that ANYONE in the world could read it.
