    Astra G diagnostics?

    Hi

I have had a search here with no real results. My question is: Where on a mk4 Astra W reg 2000 would I plug a diagnostics device into?

there is an OBD socket under the little panel under the handbrake.

Have you got the right socket, lead and software?

Cheers, I will find out, my brother got it off ebay as he does all the work on my car. Is this in front of the handbrake, and how does it come off?

Its the 'recessed' panel. Just behind the gear lever. Its just clipped on. Get a small flat blade screw driver under and prize up.
