    electronic supercharges

just been lookin on ebay for an engine when i came across this item called an electronic supercharger
Looks basically like an induction kit with a electronic fan in it they reckon people have had up to 20 BHP gains

Has anyone heard of these before looks a bit to easy

been discused before and think general opinion of them is they are rubbish. How is a small fan inside an induction kit going to give 20bhp?

Am bored so have emailed the seller, to see what he says, as he keeps mentionion serious boost in the auction + in the answer to every question he is asked. Want to find out what he means by serious boost and how it is measured?

i once tried something similar, before all of these e bay kits turned up! i purchased a delta fan, it was a 120mm 12v fan with the highest air flow on the market, about 200cfm which is pretty insane! anyways, i made a housing for it and put it on my cavalier, and i was astonished at the results!
when i flipped the switch the mental fan span up giving an almighty woooooshing sound and well..... thats it really, it may have given me 1bhp or so, really you need a fan with a really high cfm (200cfm is good) but it also needs alot of pressure! something that you just cant get! without having a massive motor and fan! so my project was over! i still have the fan, and i put it into my computer case but whenever it was on there was an almighty gale in the room and every bit of paper took off! lol its maaaaaad!
Fitted options: Folding mirrors, cruise control, dual tone horn, remap.
    Next: Bluetooth

All it will do is disrupt the airflow into the engine as it wont compress it like a charger.
