    hose paths and lengths

    Basically just a query really.

The hoses and paths that the hoses take from say the coolant water bottle, the windscreen, breakfluid bottle and so forth, are these a certain length for a reason?

Does shortening them or reducing their length effect how the engine runs, or how the system flows or should it make no difference?

    Cheers

Shouldn't make any difference to be honest, various people have modded them in different ways and used different diameters of hose, so you should be fine.
