    Kurbed My New Alloys!!!

1st day with my new 17" WOLFRACE IKON'S on and i've kurbed the rear what a peach! jackass!!!

i was reversing to let some old biddy passed in her car as we had both met facing each other on a road with cars parked in the most ridiculous spaces around us, so i reversed back to let her through and scraped right into the feckin kurb!!
    ___________________________

any one got any ideas as to how expensive to repair and how good a job can be done.. eg will it be totally flawless and un noticable?

    ____________________________

2 spokes have slight scuffs and about a quarter of the circumference of the rim is scraped, if you know what i mean

well, heres to letting the old dears reverse from now on, safe driving and parking 2 feet away from kurbs for me for a while!!

    bummer

...I would try a chips away repairer...they are more likely to get an 'invisible repair'..although it's down to the man doing the job.

If you get the whole wheel refurbed, the colour may not match your other alloys.

Its sickening I know the feeling all too well. On two sets of alloys none the less. A place down where I live refurb at about £40 per alloy. But like mentioned earlier I'm not sure whether a refurb would match the others.

again, i appreciate the reply, so when u say that itmay not resemble the other alloys, do u mean it will be too bright or something like that?

any other answers welcome, cheers all!!

you may be able to get a touch up pencil and colour the scratch or chip in if its very small but as said it will probably need refurbed at anywhere from 25-50 a wheel depending where u get it done.
As for the match well its like getting a door painted the colour may match it may not, depends how good a paint job and match the paint are!
    good luck

update: i just had chips away out to me today, i have oz's alloys and he said it tends to look a lot duller silver colour, and if they are shiny mirror effect finish - forget it! it will stand out badly,

    .........alloys sometimes can annoy lots!
