ARGHH! So much for a brand new Astra!

    Hello All...
Some of you may have read that I have bought a new Astra Sport SXI...

Anyway, noticed this afternoon that there are now minor scratches all on the bonnet of the car, and near the door handle on the driver side!

Ive only had the car for 1 night lol and look wats happened! It is metallic paint so it should be ok (well I thought)

I drive alot on the motorway for work! So if I just took my car out yesterday on a few streets near me to show it off 2 ma mates, God knows wat state its going to be in when I drive to work 2moro!

Did or has anyone else have/had this problem before?

sounds like the scratchs near the door handle have probably been done by people getting in and out of it!

I would give it a good polish then wax to protect the paintwork.

I bought my SXi brand new in saphire black - never again. Sold it at 18 months old and it was covered in imperfections.

Scratches on the bonnet could be caused by cats sitting on it. The modern water based paints do tend to scratch easily.
