    Mod friendly insurers

    YES! That old chestnut again!

Have searched before u ask - but nothing fits the bill

Can anyone recommend some good insurance companies?

Car isn't much to write home about - have usual run'o'the mill mods (suspension, exhaust, alloys, induction etc) all mods declared etc....BUT have a few motoring convictions too so need to find company that can accomodate this.

The best Ive got so far is from Adrian Flux (existing customer for bike policy) ... Anyone think of some others that could provide cover considering the above circumstances. Renew date 17th Oct but away next week so need some ideas.

    Thanks in advance guys/gals.

Tried HIC - got all the way thru the online quote system only to find they cant quote online due to my "circumstances" - gggrrrr will try the others mentioned but TBH cant think anyone will beat Flux - will probs renew my bike thru them at the same time so might be able to score some discount or a better deal.

i tried confused but most of them wouldnt touch me cos of the convictions....their loss tho! Flux is top of the list so far and will probs get the deal.

EDIT: Just re-checked that and every single insurer wont touch (a) modified cars and (b) 3+ convictions... stoooopid ppl! lol

I thought that when i rang HIC up, and they did. HIC and Flux are owned by the same company, so you may be better off or not.
Don't be so lazy and give them a bell.

Be careful with places like Confused/elephant they may not cover your mods.

I know Belldirect don't if you've modded your car they increase the premium to suit (fair enough) but if your involved in an accident they will only repair your car to standard, and not modified. Makes their policy worthless in my eyes.

Just double check the small print before thinking somewhere's cheap. Normally there's a good reason for it.
