I think Sainsbury's fuel is supplied by BP.. so i am assuming that Sainsbury's S.unleaded is actually BP ultimate 97ron.

    This quoted from http://www.petrolprices.com/sainsburys.html :
"In 2004 Sainsbury's struck a deal with BP and it is believed they now supply all of Sainsbury's fuel"

    edit: bp ultimate is 97ron

I wouldn't run either......Shell V-Power all the way! They did tests comparing Optimax to the Tesco Super and the optimax won even tho it was 98RON. So the new V-Power being 99RON should be even better!

I work for JS and used to work in one of their petrol stations and it is in fact BP petrol. The tanker drivers even had BP uniforms when i was there!!

Been tryin to convince people i know that just by going to JS 1 minute down the road from BP it is about 3p/litre cheaper for exactly the same fuel

i stick to V-Power, last few tank fulls have got me between 31.6 and 32.9mpg, rather than the usual 30.5-31.5 i usually get from BP ultimate or tesco 99ron,

just filled up today for 92.9p a litre i think its pretty good,
