Good quality material & construction, nice sound, prob one of the best makes for giving bhp increases ... I had a Magnex on my Golf GTI, couldnt fault it.

Although I like the Magnex range, there pipework diameter is only 2inch - around 45mm. Where as if you look at Scorpion there systems come with a 2.5inch - 63.5mm pipe!!

If your planning on other mods reaching high power figs - Bigger is better.
I've got a full custom exhaust - 2inch on a 1.8 with cams etc... and now I have to change it as the pipe has reached it's max flow rate (costing me more money to do it right!).

Courtenay Sport recommend Milltek and they have 2.5inch pipework.

    Hope this has helped.

Nice pipes and excellent quality too, but I've never liked the way the back silencer hangs that far down below the bumper (dog's scrotum style)

Could this not be overcome Geoff by playing with the mounting struts on the exhaust or is the box that big that it needs to sit that far down to accomodate?
    Its a jam thing

Not really jam, as the tail pipes exit the silencer in the centre rather than near the bottom edge like on the Irmy ones, so even if the mountings were adjusted to pull the pipes up under the bumper, you'd still have a lot of box showing.

Still if you've got a rear apron like a rieger or similar, then it's not noticeable.

It's just my take on them, but I do like a tidy box

There's nothing worse than a load of flange hanging down below the skirt

I had one on my sri and loved it, not to loud, looked great and fitted really well with the prodrive rear skirt from vauxhall.
