    Painting the Z20let rocker cover

Basically, im thinking of repainting my rocker cover, now is it best to mask off the surrounding areas and spray, or actually take it off?

If the answer is take it off, is it easy to do? whats the process of cleaning it up, just sand it down being preparing for it to be painted?

    Cheers

dont know much about putting it back on, but i recommend you take it off to save any over spray onto parts you dont want splattered.

    Mate, they`re plastic.

Take it off, degrease it, rub it down with w & d then use plastic primer, then whatever colour you want.
I used grey undercoat, candy red base, gold flake and finally clear laquer.
It lasted about 8,000 miles before it started to blister.
