    How do u check for oil in the intercooler?

    As the title says.

    Sorry if i appear thick but this is my first turbo car.

    Plus how do u drain it off if there is?

    take the hoses off and have a look or rub your finger around the pipework

    you will get a bit of oil in there but if it comes out of the bottom hose pouring out then thats too much

    Yes mate, the cam cover vents into the crossover pipe, hence the oil. Loads of oil could mean a blocked breather, or probably more seriously, a buggered oil seal in your turbo.

    The best way to check, if you are worried, is to whip the front bumper off, and take the pipe off the bottom of the Intercooler, and see what comes out
