no it only appears to be there when accelerating and de accelerating, clicks once sometmes twice and thats is, i really dont have a clue. if it was constant while driving then id be looking for something catching or rouling but its only once and thats it. but if im doing 60 and i drop off and then floor it i can hear it click still even at that speed.

This is a hard one! Are you sure it coming from near the wheel? If so one possabilty is the CV joint or drive shaft.

yeh definatly coming from near the wheel and only on the drivers side.
this side had a new hub fitted at vauxhall not even a year ago, does the hub not have the cv joint in it as one bit ou is the cv joint on the drive shaft? and how can i tell if its on its way out from looking ar it?
    cheers

ok i been told its most likley to be the inner cv joint as it isnt made worse by turning the wheel, is there any way of testing this??
and where is the cheepest place to get a new drive shaft with both cv joints on??
