    Another Dump Valve Ques

I have the bailey kit from regal and when the garage came to fit it to my coupe it says undo 3 allen head bolts but i have 5 is this still the right kit? They wouldnt do anyhting else just incase it was the wrong kit.

I have tryed to do a search and saw the guide on how to do it which also says allen head bolts, The kit i got says GSI but the coupe has the same engine?

    Thanks Lee

yea thats to disable the OE valve.. you can save yourself the 3 hours etc to do this, by just fitting a one way valve from halfrauds. do a search for one way valve mate

you have got three allen key bolts. They do not refere to the baily they refer to the standad recirc dump valve on your turbo.

what usually happens is you need to remove the 3 allen key bolts from the OE dump valve, this can take a fair while, and you need to fit a spacer to it.

But then someone on here(i think it was lee) found that to combat this, you can just fit a one way valve to the hose coming from the OE dumpvalve, sort of to simulate the OE one not being there.. saves time and costs about £2.29
