    Best car of the day

After walking round the show car area at Trax, thinking most of them looked poo, Minxy asked me what car floated my boat and the closest I could find was an Aerial Atom and a Lotus S2 Exige - both close, but sadly no cigar.

Then I spotted this on the way home...

    Bloody tyresmoking gorgeous

    E-type Jag

There was a timing blade on the front end and Shelsey Walsh stickers on the side, so I assume it was a hill climber.

cool absoultely massive arches, but the question is why! why use a perfectly good e-type which if im not mistaken are rather rare now days and use it as a hill climber? fair play its a nice car but surely there are better cars to use as a platform.

Would love an E-Type Jag. Watched a program once about restoring motors and an E-Type Jag was one of them. Looked so damn nice when it was completed

Mark - How do you know it was a perfectly good jag to start with? . E-types have been used in motorsport since they were first created, so I doubt very much id anyone has chopped up a concours jobbie

Al - you could always get an onld XJ6 and do a replica
