Changing to LEDs on the dash

Quick question and quick answer needed

Undone everything, but with the steering wheel on, how do you get the plastic dash surround out of the way to remove the dials?

Just tried all 8 i got off Kirsty, couldnt get them to work.

Ill give them another go tomorrow, gotta go out food shopping now.

Anyway to test the LEDs to make sure they do work without putting them into the dash?

Piece of wire to one of the prongs sticking from the bulb holder, connect to one side of the battery and touch the opposite prong to the other terminal. If it don't light up reverse the direction as said they only work in one polarity.

Have you got black faced dials? 2000 or upward aged Mk4?
