    Astra VXR to dump or not to dump

    Looking to see you guys opinion on wether or not to fit a Dump Valve on my VXR ,wot ya think Guys Dump or not to Dump

    i had a dump on my GSi and i'm sure it caused problems leading to a boost control solenoid going. If i were you i'd leave it as it is. It's not a loud dumo anyway, only sounds like a cat sneezing!!

    Yea with a standard airbox.

    I havent had one problem with either my old ACT or 888 dumping ... so its just personal preference as to whether u want one or not. Everyone knows a VXR is a turbo anyways.

    And unless u razz around towns making it dump, then I doubt anyone will hear it on the motorway etc.

    Dont know much about the technical side of things here, but IMO dump valves sound very uncool. Only short fat balding men with Mitsu Evos or chavs with yellow Renault 5 Turbos seem to fit them nowadays.

    I think it would spoil your lovely VXR.
