    mk4 gm front mudflap fitment??

Hi, not been on here in a long time, had a mk4 1.8 sport about 2years ago

(sold it and went back to novas)

Have now got a 1.6 sxi 3dr as my daily driver while i restore my nova to concourse condition.

I want to fit a full set of vauxhall mudflaps (the plain black ones with silver griffin on the outside bottom corner)
I know the rear ones simply clamp to the bumper, but how do the front fit? as the arch liner comes right past the lip.
Does it need trimmed??(dont really want to)

I had fitted these on my last mk4, but cant remember how the fronts went on??

Also anywhere cheaper online to get them? As my nearest vaux is 40 miles away.
    thanks for replys
    Gary

Usually a dirty great self-tapper into the arch liner and side skirt.

If it helps, mine are fixed with 5 self tapers in total. 4 in the arch liner and 1 in the skirt.

If there like the coupe, they should clip onto the inner lining of the arch.
