Question need ideas for a standard astra

    awrite people,

just now i am sitting with a standard astra, and because of my age my insurance is pretty high.

so i am looking for some small mods to do to make my astra stand out from the crowd.

just now i am thinking of alloys, tints, clear rear lights, backbox and sounds. so any other suggestions or suggestions on types of alloys etc would be much appreciated .

or even suggestions for good insurance companys, that wont rip me off( well not to much )

    cheers

    webbie

edit: its a mark 4 astra

Stick to OEM (vauxhall and opel) products as they shouldnt affect your insurance - others will confirm for sure.

www.ecarinsurance.co.uk is a good and cheap insurance company. its is owned by Northern Rock so its completely legit.

    - easy to do and should not affect insurance.

    Hi and welcome

As mentions subtle is best and although the Irmy rout has been done many times its one of the favorites....

Check out the styling guide for inspiration.

anno this is a daft question, but since irny mods are still vauxhall/opel parts, would you need to delare them atoll? or would thye be much of an insurance diffrence?

considering the term 'modified' in the eyes of the insurance (and the law for that matter) means altered in any way from vehicle original specification....so in a word YES u will have to declare these mods (if ya wanna be covered!) as for how much difference these would make - Im in no position to say (as I only like about 3 products from the entire Irmscher range) therefore have no personal experience. Sorry!
