    Parking Sensors

Im thinking of buying rear Parking sensors in Particular this one (http://www.parkitright.com/pir4sensormore.html) i was wondering if anyone knew how i would wire these so they only work when im reversing and not all the time? (as that would do my head in)

    Cheers

you hook them up to the reverse light wire in the rear lights. So they only activate when you put the car in reverse.
I got a set for £30 I think (maybe cheaper) off ebay member in china and got coloured sensors (took 2 weeks but just as good as the more expensive ones ive compared them to).
Mine are blue and to my joy they were exactely the same colour as my car (ultra blue). I'll dig out link if you want.

ok - ill look later for link. Remember not to fit them to low - there is a recomended height or the sensor will be picking up the floor

As said above the parking aids just go to the reverse light feed and earth. Also mentioned is the fact they have to be a certain height and distance apart but I know a member on here already has a set in the black recess of a coupe bumper

Anyone know who it is who has fitted them in the Black Recess, and if he has had any problems?

    Cheers

No it's not me, I was actually worried it wouldn't work as these things have to be fitted a certain height and distance apart etc
