Called into a local garage to put a tenner of diesel in the car there this afternoon. Pulled up the other side of a woman in a Megane, which was a loaner from the local big Renault dealership (it had logos and Courtesy car all over it).
Noticed she was putting unleaded into it when I drove up.
so I got out of the car and started filling my car, and she was trying to get the fuel cap lid closed, but as the car was locked it wasn't shutting. She was mashing away at it. At that point I noticed the "dCi" badge on the door of the car.
So I said "Excuse me, you'll find it'll close better with the car unlocked, oh and you've put petrol in a diesel car - the engine will probably blow up"
She said "Oh, I don't care, it's not my car" as she starts to walk towards the shop to pay for her fuel.
I went and paid for my fuel, and went back to my car. She got in hers and drove off. I was nearly going to follow her then stop and laugh when the poor Megane stopped.
I mean, what sort of mentality does that. First nearly snaps the fuel door off trying to close it, then ignores the fact she put the wrong fuel in?
