    Track Day

Some pics of my first Track day i done yesterday at Kirkistown in Northern ireland.
I just need some new front tyres now as my front left is well and turely worn from lots of understeer. Think i need some lowered suspension.
My greenstuff pads worked fine with no fading which was good.
All the marshals and others driver were surprised how fast i was. I got moved from the novice class to the fast class and a BMW M3CSL couldn't catch me.
i had a really good day recomend everyone to do a track day.

its just the same as driving on the road apart from no speed cameras, police or walls to crash into. the only thing that takes a beating is the tyres but i think that was down to having cheap firestone tyres that came with the car. they needed replacing as they were a bit low so thought i'd finnish them off.

Get yourself a Whitline ARB, dazer. You'd be flat round the hairpin.

How come they weren't using the full track? That looks like the inner section on the cart track?

Last time I was there, there was a guy going round in a 90hp Golf diesel, on 80 profile tyres and all. He had some craic.

I do intend doing a track day at Kirky some time soon, just need to get a helmet.
