    thats what i just noticed on his car Lucas pads in a Bosch caliper
    I will get a better pic for this when i have the wheels off the car
    but it should stop people asking what is what ????????

    And the lucas ones have lucas written on them that can be seen with out taking the wheel off

    apparantly the lucas ones. but i have never had a problem with my bosch ones

    the purpose of this thread was to let ppl know which type they have as the Bosch ones are prone to failure...therefore the Lucas ones are probably the best to go for. Some ppl have reported problems with the Lucas ones too so one could argue as long as u get a good set (whatever make) and give them a full refurb then u should be ok.
    Vx were aware of the problems and reverted to fitting Lucas as standard - cant recall exact date but think it was 2000/2001 ish.

    If ur in doubt at all - do a search for Bosch, Lucas, Calipers, Binding etc etc etc as its been covered countless times...and about 4 or 5 times this month already!

    that's all the info i need'ed thank's and it make me feel better because i have the lucas calipers. .
