be easier to download the adblock plugin for fireox imo then you can just choose what ads to block

go tools > extensions > find more extensions and it is on the list of top extensions

Edit* this will help you in future doing it this way as you will be able to block adverts on all sites, including the similes ones etc.

For Firefox just add this line to your HOSTS file:
127.0.0.1 a.photobucket.com
Dont believe in Extensions for Firefox as it beats the point of it in the first place ( Fast, Secure, Reliable blah blah blah )...

Where do you put this hosts file?

And will it only block out adverts from Photobucket?

Creating a HOSTS Editor [return to FAQ] To edit your HOSTS file you can create a custom Desktop or Quick Launch shortcut.
Note: the below locations are for the default paths, edit as needed. [screenshot (XP only)]
Right-click on the Desktop, select: New > Shortcut (and paste the following)
Windows XP
Target: C:\WINDOWS\NOTEPAD.EXE C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\etc\HOSTS
Start In: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
Or put a Notepad shortcut in your SendTo folder
Start | Run (type) sendto (click Ok)
File > New > Shortcut
In the command line, (highlight and paste the below)

C:\WINDOWS\NOTEPAD.EXE (provided Windows is the default location)
Then simply right-click on the HOSTS file and select: SendTo > Notepad (Screenshot)
