    New Law Regarding Child Seats

    For those who arent aware:

    http://www.thinkroadsafety.gov.uk/ca...ldcarseats.htm

Children upto 3yrs must use appropriate child restraint. (baby seat etc)

Children between 3 - 12 must be in a booster seat and use the correct child restraint.

I think thats about right... it goes on childs age and height as to when they can just use a normal seat and adult seat belt (12yrs + or 4ft 5ins)

Theres more to it than that though, regarding taxi's etc.

    Whats a dwaf?

If their over 12 then its A-Ok .. its just if your under 12 or under 4ft 5ins that u need a proper child restraint and booster seat. (or if under 3 then a babyseat etc)... if you dont abide, then you'll be fined, think its upto £500 a time.

You have until the 18th Sept at least, but even so, it is an extra cost which is a pain, but its better than paying £500 per child not in a proper seat/restraint if your caught.

I feel sorry for the 11yr olds who are just short of the height (mainly girls cos they dont grow as tall as lads, as quick) ... some might be over the boundary and laugh at the ones still in booster seats lol.

God knows, thats probably a problem when their between 10-14 ... but obviously under that age its quite distinguishable that they aint 12 lol.
