    Brake binding on Bosch calipers

Is there an easy way to sort brake binding on Bosch calipers?

    Thanks

if ur talkin about the rears...then the best thing to do is source a set of Lucas ones. Bosch units are well known for going tits up! Theres a few ppl on here that may be able to source u a set if necessary. Ken (Oddjob) & Danny (dannysport18 ) may be able to - or at least i think they have done in the past.

i have become an expert with the rear Bosch calipers lol. the best thing to do is replace the units for refurbished ones and always do them together. once fitted you will find you can set them up to perfection and this makes all the difference with their performance. i doubt a vaux mechanic would take so much time when you see what i mean. i personally think a set of well fitted Bosch do just as good a job as the Lucas will, when researching for myself i found Lucas to be problematic in their own way. my original calipers lasted around 4yrs before they gave up and the replacements are working great.

i have a how to in the north east sticky section...
    Cheers Rich.

If I was to replace my rear calipers for Lucas ones would they be a direct replacement? ie using the same pads, discs?

    Thanks

Pads no, discs yes. Everything else is the same, hub holes etc handbrake cable fits as well. Nothing between the calipers is interchangeable though.
