    Redtop into a Mk3 fiesta?

Right, i want a project car, a fiesta to be more precise.

Now i can do an FRST or Mondeo zetec lump, but some old guy at work say loads of old ford boys put the XE into their oldskool fords, and seeing how ford engines haven't changed a whole lot it got me thinking, would an XE or even a C20LET fit in a Mk3 fiesta? I have no idea if theres any chance but at the moment the whole projects an idea, so im just looking at my options.

Any ideas on other engines that'd go i there?

    cossie
just go for a 2.0 zetec from focus
    or a duratec ST 170engine.
orrrrrrrrrr if your feeling a slightbit wealthy go for the new Focus St 2.5 turbo engine.
    easiest wouldbe a RST though.

Im thinking RST or mondeo 2.0 zetec, as that'd be cheaper than getting one from a focus. But the RST's are pretty unreliable, despite being an easier conversion.

Hows your redtop conversion going anyway mate?

And hows this for a cossie conversion in a fiesta? http://www.fiestaturbo.com/forums/about93598.html

Puma! thats a good idea. So far me and some guy form work have come up with the 2.0 zetec out of a mondeo, the RST/RS1800 lump, or find an old ford probe or scorpio, but the latter is less likely.

Then comes the decision of doing a sleeper or modify it a bit. I could even find an old FRST and restore it but i know that'll be alot of panel work which i cant be arsed with really.
