Well didnt really want to say to much on this because i know loads of people chat arse and didnt want to look like that. But got some photo's yesterday first time i saw the car after its been repaired. It was supposed to be ready by now but M-tec drilled the engine mount out wrong so got to wait until wednesday till i can get a new one.
Its pretty standard really apart from the Gsi kit, and the angel eyes. Got some tarox 6 pots on order but italy shut down for 2 weeks, so wont get them until september and the gaz coilovers should be about 2 weeks.
This is what it looked like from the breakers, nice 1.6 sxi here.
The damage looks bad but nothing major, Car cost 2.5k cause it snapped the mount and broke the cambelt. So needed a new engine. Cat D wright off.
Nice wheel there.
To this, sorry about the photo's, my carama was on some wierd setting and i didnt realise until i got home with 35 bad photo's.
I love the rear end look of the gsi, check out the number plate, CYA.
£575 quid later on jig work and the drivers side looked all new. It had 2 new wings, offside inner wing, new slam panel.
Had the bump strips and the roof rails done, cost £70 which was cool, looks much better. Left the wing mirror brackets the painted said it would look stupid with nothing to contrast the car to.
Sorry bad pic, and its upside down, but the GSI bumper in black looks the dogs.
My Clet which i got robbed for, paid £1200 with no F28, loom, AFM, or ecu. After buying all the bits its cost £2k. The turbo is brand new though it had done 500 miles. And it looks new.
Engine half way threw a rebuild got arp crank bolts and might do a stud conversion, new rings, values, seals, ect.
Well i have more pic's but there not that good and dont want to post up to many. Should be driving it saturday with abit of luck. Although got to run it in for 500 miles. What do you think?
