    air bag light

    Hi i have just fitted some new bucket seats and now my airbag light is on which i expected, but how or whats the best way to get rid of it?

    you will need to have it reset by tech2

    I've always found it varies from place to place. If I want any tech 2 work doing it's best to go when they're quiet (Sundays) and just have a word with one of the engineers and he'll normally do it for a drink.

    £40, but why did you expect it to be on? itl only keep coming on if you had side airbags and theyr not in. the seat belt tensioners need to be plugged in too

    Because there is a socket underneath my original seats but on my new seats there isnt a socket for the plug to plug into,its the seat belt tensioner i think. But i have 3 point harnesses now. so i have removed the seat belts and now air bag light is on so will tech 2 remove it

    itl remove it until you turn your ignition on again, as it does a self check of the airbags when you turn it on, have to get a resistor or wire it up to something i guess

    Nope, I think its an LED

    Although, I dont think it's an MOT fail...

    My old fiesta passed with it on anyway...

    Just stick some black tape over it, lol!
