well first of all. have u got any mods at all? If not then the best thing to do is follow the proven method which includes a new air intake from a Vectra C Diesel (part numbers & info in How To Section), de-restrict your existing air box [remove a few pipes and bobs ur uncle - more air flow], an uprated free flowing panel filter (from the likes of K&N), these couple of mods will allow ur engine to breathe more easily and may release a couple of ponies into the bargain. (induction kits are not that effective on 16v engines due to the high temperatures in the engine bay killing the cold air needed for better performance - ie heatsoak)

You'd be best off mating this with a decent exhaust system - entirely upto u how far u wanna go,,,ie backbox only, cat back exhaust, full system etc etc etc

These are really the first things u should do to enhance the existing performance of the car. Youd be best off doin a search (top right of the screen ish) type in Veccy C, derestrict, or similar and youll see what i mean.

Failing that have a look in the Techincal Forum, and click on the How To's - select derestrict option and fitting a Vectra C air inlet for more info.

Obviously theres loads of things u can do but money is the main concern at the end of the day. I'll leave ya with these couple of ideas for the mo - have a look and see what ya think.

Personally once Id done the above, Id sort out the exterior (wheels, suspension etc...maybe some upgraded brakes wouldnt go amiss) as I said, the list is endless but this would be a good starting point.

    I'll shutup now!
