Ok I have just had two replacement glove box arms arrive in the post, I havent had a look at how to fit them yet, but has anyone done this before? Is it easy todo?
yes very easy to do.
Remove the glovebox.
Remove the glovebox lid by pushing the two locking tabs out with a screwdriver (see the fitting a lockable glovebox how to).
Now look at the arms and see which way the tab is pointing.
Pull the exsisting arms up from the opptsite end and they should release.
To install the new arms, insert the tab in to the correct end and then push the opposite end into place till they click.
Re-assemble in reverse.
I did'nt know they were available seperatly !
Not many people do and replace the glove box at £30
lol i just pulled the arms off of mine it didnt break anything and was quite easy
Fitted options: Folding mirrors, cruise control, dual tone horn, remap.
4 quid a pair from vauxhall
mine cost £4.01 for just the R/H arm yesterday.Originally Posted by djklasic99
