i was driving around skegness on friday when we went to the pub for lunch namely the cherry tree, we pulled out of the pub carpark heading towards skeggy where i saw a cctv van, then 20 seconds later i was pulled in outside butlins for not wearing a belt, so when the copper said why arn't i wearing a belt cos you know it is very dangerous and not to mention against the law, i replied cos we literally pulled out of the carpark and 20 seconds later you stopped me. right, the copper could smell alcohol so i told the copper i had been in the pub and i had a couple of drinks (they were only shandys but i didn't say what). My gripe was he asked for no id, no documents and no breath test just sent me away with a 30 pound fine. Which i think was rather slack of the police,i could have been half pissed with no licence and no documents at all which is MUCH more dangerous than not wearing a seatbelt. moan over!!
