    Is there anyone out there that can tell me the difference and view their opinion of which is best!

    my understanding is a chip is an off the shelf item for a particular engine,a re map is tailor made to suit your driving needs ie power/economy etc.re map is best mate

    same difference, unless its live mapping with a programmable ecu. you can't map on a rolling road without one.
