    SUB/AMP install

Im looking to have my system from my old car put into my coupe. Alpine MRD-500 running 12" Kicker Solo L5. Kicker 300.4 with 2 pairs of infinity reference components.

I have always fitted systems myself before and have done many for friends on many different cars. However, I am dubious about peeling my door cards off on this motor; I don't wanna funk it up!

All I am looking for is for the 4Guage Power Cable to be run through the car, grounding cables sorted and also the RCAs and Control cables. I am willing to mount amps etc myself. I think I will leave wiring in the 4 channel and components for now till I have more cash.

How much am I looking at for above work? Or am I being stupid not doing it myself?

do it yourself, its fairly easy especially with 4 gauge as it'll fit down under the door rubber seal that goes along the sill. RCA's and remote can do in the same place but on the other sill or keep remote and power together, up to you.

Nice grommet behind the drivers side dash, remove the little glove box thing and look up and you'll see a spare grommet which you can push out with something long from the engine bay

You can earth to one of the rear seat bolts but you need a replacement steel bolt as the standard ones are painted black, that was where i found my earth point anyway.

Took me about 2 1/2 hours

To get to the rear speakers you have to remove the rear cards yes........... along with the seat base and back
