Ok i have had a few new bits for the coupe, all audio stuff and a car kit.
Firstly my new headunit, never had a alpine head unit before always being a pioneer man but i am really happy with it, its the cda 9853r (pics below) There is alot of settings on it i am yet to play with but the first thing i did notice about it was the great build quality! The display is very clear and very easy to use and te sound is very very crisp. Compared to the standard unit it is 100 times better and at only £190 quid i think that its a hell of a lot of headunit for not to much brass. The best thing about the head unit is 6-Channel Digital Time Correction, basically it delays the sound coming out of the drivers side speakers a tiny tiny bit so that the sound from the passangers side hits your ears the exact some time, sounds a realy small thing but it dam sure works! Big thanks to the mrs for this as it was my birthday prezzy!

Next up was some new component speakers, i ended up going for alpine type-r SPR-17LS - 16.5cm components, again never had alpine before and again i am happy with the allround performace of them, they are just running off the headunit at the moment but will be looking at getting them amped up in the future, here is the spec for them:

Next up is my sub and amp, again i ventured into the unknown with a kicker amp and a focal 13" sub and again i am happy with them both. I cannot really comment on performace yet as i am just bedding them in at the moment, the amp is a Kicker: KX450.2 Amplifier and the spec is here:

finally my car kit, i have a nokia 6230 (best phone EVER!) and i did not really fancy a cradle kit so i went for the nokia 610 bluetooth kit, its great, crystal clear even at high speeds and i can read texts on the little screen
Sorry for the long post people hope your still awake!
Again i would like to say thanks to the mrs and simon at NS instalations for fitting everything
