The Coupe Is Here But A Couple Of Problems

Picked the coupe up last night, very happy with it performance wise. much better than my old 1.8 and i really like the shape of the coupe.

but i have a couple of problems if anyone could help me out, firstly i have no readio code and the radio is in safe mode, i am guessing i need to take it to vauxhall.

secondly the height adjuster on the drivers seat is buggered, it will raise the seat but not lower it, has anyone else had this problem and can shed some light as i may have a look tonight and see if i can fix it myself.

will get some new pics up asap and i'm sure the modding will start soon, although im going down the more subtle route this time.

If you look in your service book there should be a stamp from the dealer that origionally supplied the car when new, if its there call them up and they should be able to give you a note of the codes as most dealers keep a note of codes for cars that they supply, saves you having to pay for a car pass. If you cant get that then you need to go to your local dealer and order up a new car pass, price on this varies.

Why would they put a security code on a sticker and attach it to the stereo??????

Think you will need the vaux car pass you get with the car when its new.... vx should be able to do it for you, or at least tell you what you need

It's Vauxhall, that's why. When I got my new Corsa, the radio code was on a sticker on the facia of the stereo!
