    2nd battery

    im thinking of altering my install on the astra, but i will need a 2nd battery, few question................

    1. where is the best place for the battery (spare wheel well isnt really an option)

    2. will i need to split charge and whats needed to do this?

    3. which is the best 2nd battery for money

    4. how hard is it to wire up?

    My brother mounted his 2nd battery over on the passnger side of his vectra and moulded it all in with just the terminals in, it was a optima so didnt have to worry about it breathing which answers your 3rd question to

    Yes you will need to wire up a split charge system so you don't flatten your front battery and it's all quite easy to do as alot of the split charge relays work on voltage difference for switching
